Miran Pirner, a freestyle football wizard from Zagreb, won the Croatian Red Bull Street Style finals on Saturday.
Pirner, 22, will represent Croatia at the Red Bull Street Style World Finals in April and be the only Croatian footballer in South Africa this year since the national team did not qualify for the World Cup.
Freestyle football is the art of expressing oneself with a football, while performing various tricks with any part of the body except the hands.
Pirner finds freestyle more challenging than football.
In his interview on the Red Bull Street Style official website, he said: "This is a wonderful day for me! I've been waiting since September 2008 to correct the mistake that cost me a ticket to Brazil for the first Red Bull Street Style World Finals. This competition is a brilliant way of promoting freestyle football in Croatia."
