Hrgovic kicked out of Greuther Fürth

Croatian Times

Former Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split star Mirko Hrgovic has been sacked from his German club after a reported row with the team’s coach.

Local media claimed that Hrgovic was booted out of Greuther Fürth after just four months with the side after a row with coach Benn Möhlmann.

Greuther Fürth officials confirmed the 30-year-old had left the club after an "internal incident".

But fellow Croatian Greuther Fürth ace Marino Biliskov told "Kicker" magazine: "From the start Hrgovic did not feel comfortable with us. I believe he was expecting a better status at the club. He did not get along with the coach, but that does not give him the right to verbally attack him."
