Hajduk fans´ sheep protest over management

Croatian Times

Desperate football fans dumped a flock of sheep in front of a football stadium today (Tues) in protest over the election of their favourite club’s executives.

Hajduk Split fans said the sheep could do just as good a job of running the club as the candidates up for election to its supervisory board this weekend.

They left the five sheep in front of Poljud, Split stadium and said in a statement: "One of us is a club small shareholder and these sheep are his proposed independent candidates for posts on the supervisory board.

"Each sheep has the same quality, experience and schooling as some suggested board members. The only difference is they are a lot more familiar with grass."
