Croatian First Football League fines Hajduk

The Croatian First Football League has fined Hajduk Split football club 50,000 kunas or 6,872 Euros for a board member’s behaviour and its fans’ racism.

The top football league’s disciplinary commission fined Hajduk 10,000 kunas or 1,374 Euros because club board member Ivica Surjak assaulted a referee during the Hajduk-Dinamo game on Saturday.

Surjak has been banned from the club and cannot enter the players' locker room or sit on the bench during games for three months.

Hajduk has been fined 40,000 kunas or 5,498 Euros because its fans racially taunted the referee and a Dinamo player during the same game.
