Russian 80's alternative fashion on show at Dubrovnik exhibition

The exhibition "Alternative Fashion Before Glossies 1985-1995", organised by the Moscow alternative gallery Garage, Varazdin gallery center and Dubrovnik Cinemas, has opened in the southern Dalmatian city of Dubrovnik.
Visitors will have a chance until 2 September to see what Russian alternative fashion looked liked in the 1980's and 1990's, writes website Tportal. The exhibition presents 76 fashion pictures, 20 creations, and will show five films.
"Moscow's Garage is the best example of how strong alternative fashion is," said one of the organisers Miso Mihocevic, adding that Garage center is the strongest non-profit international art centre in Russia, in which the alternative scene is formed in Russia.
