Croatia's oldest festival 'Dubrovnik Summer Games' ready to open

The oldest cultural festival in Croatia, Dubrovnik Summer Festival is set to take place from 10 July to 25 August in Dubrovnik, presenting rich and vibrant theatre programmes in the fields of theatre, ballet, classic music and opera.
More than 2,000 performing artists from more than 20 countries will perform at the 63rd Dubrovnik Summer Festival, reports daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija.
Along with the famous pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim and pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Vodoloss Arcadia, performing in front of the Dubrovnik audience will be violinist Nigel Kennedy, accordionist Richard Galliano with Piazzolla Forever Septeto, Spanish guitarist Los Romeros and many others.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
Representatives of the Governments of Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a memorandum highlighting their intention to construct two new pipelines - the Trans-Adriatic (Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP) and the Ionian-Adriatic (Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, IAP), the news agency RIA Novosti reports.
