Croatian Times
The 2nd International Classical Music Festival will take place in Adriatic coastal town of Novi Vinodolski at the peak of the tourist season from 16 July to 8 August, featuring a host of concerts from leading local and international musicians.
The Rijeka Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Nada Matosevic, will perform at the official opening of the festival on 16 July, together with tenor Tvrtko Stipic. The program will include works by Mozart, Schubert and Dvorzak.
Guests at the festival will also have a chance to see in concert Zagreb pianist Maria Mikulic Stimac, Slovenian flute player Cveta Kobala, Croatian pianist Jaksa Zlatar, Russian musician Dua Balyk and young Japanese marimba soloist Midori Ichikawa.
