Dino Merlin to perform in Split
Croatian Times
Dino Merlin, a Bosnian singer, songwriter and musician born in Sarajevo, will perform at Split’s Spaladium Arena hall on 18 March.
One of the most famous singer in Bosnia-Herzegovina, he is popular in the other countries of the former Yugoslavia.
It will be his first concert in Split in 20 years. The Split concert will occur during his tour to promote his album "Ispocetka" (From Scratch).
The eponymous song "Ispocetka" from the album shows his fans that, even after 27 years, Merlin is still performing with the same energy as at the beginning.
Talking about his upcoming concert, Merlin told the Croatian Times: "I am very happy to sing in Split, especially because this is a city that has launched top singers such as Gibonni, Oliver Dragojevic and Dino Dvornik. If you ask me if I will be nervous in front of a Split audience, well yes, a little bit, because it is human to feel fear when you respect someone, and I respect my audience."
Merlin’s guests at the concert will include Croatian pop singer Ivana Banfic and Edo Sanki, a very-popular soul singer living in Germany. The SMS band from Sarajevo will play before the concert begins.
