Lesbian Virgin Mary offends Croatian Christians

Croatian Times

A new play in which two lesbian students are depicted as the Virgin Mary has been slammed by Christians. The play Fine Dead Girls by Dalibor Matanic being staged at the Gavella Theatre in Zagreb has been besieged with complaints after posters showing the two girls dressed as Jesus’s mother embracing each other appeared. But theatre director Darko Stazic has hit back at critics saying: "Theatre is there to open people’s eyes and to raise questions about society and get into brave dialogue with everyday life. "There are no areas or issues which shouldn’t be explored." He added that the poster had not meant to cause offence.

Who cares if its 2013 homosexuality is an expression of sin gone out of control, as is paedophilia, It should be placed back on the mental health checklist. Just saying.
