Oscar winning producer boycotted in Croatia after telling school kids there was no God

A producer on Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List was boycotted in Croatia after telling Zagreb school children God doesn’t exist. Oscar winning Hollywood producer Branko Lustig was in the southern town of Knin as part of a tour of the country to give a series of lectures and screenings of Jewish films. But after appearing in Zagreb where he told shocked pupils "If there was a God he would not have allowed the Holocaust" outraged parents in Knin refused to let their children attend his lecture at a local school. "I do not want to send my child to a lecture organised by the school so that he can be told there is no God," said one angry mum. Croatian-born Lustig was one of the millions of Jews rounded up by the Nazis and thrown into the notorious Auschwitz death camp.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
