Croatian Ambassador in UK: 'Croatian-British relations never been better'

Croatia's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ivica Tomic, says that relations between the two countries has never been better than it is now and that more and more British travellers are recognising Croatia's beauty and are now holidaying in Croatia, reports website index.hr.
"Relations between Croatia and Great Britain have never been better, and they will continue to intensively develop. Croatia is entering the EU and Britain is helping out. Relations in tourism is starting to intensify, the Brits are recognising the beauty of our country, they know more than we think they know," said Tomic.
Tomic says that the Brits are one of the best spenders when it came to tourists in Croatia, and that many choose to come to Croatia during the Olympic Games to escape the crowds in London. Tomic says that more and more young, educated Croats are moving to live in the UK, with between three and five thousand Croats estimated to be now living in the United Kingdom.
