European Investment Bank signs 100 million Euro loan agreement in Croatia

The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) has signed a 100 million deal with The European Investment Bank (EIB)for small and medium-sized businesses (SME) as well as mid-cap companies and municipalities in Croatia to finance projects. According to daily Europolitics, the loan agreement will help finance tourism as well as energy projects and those relating to the environment, health and education. The paper adds that around 70 percent of the loan will go to SMEs and mid-cap projects.
