Pre and post-season, Online Marketing focus for Croatian Tourism

The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) plans next year to strengthen continental tourism, the pre and post-season, and invest more on online marketing, reports website politika plus.
HTZ have approved the operational marketing plan for tourism in 2013. The main objective of the plan is to increase the preseason and post-season for tourism in Croatia.
A significant increase in investment for online marketing and increased funding to educate experts also features in the new plan. Minister of Tourism Veljko Ostojic believes that education is where money is best invested and believes that all activities will be more effective as a result.
Investment in tourism for 2013 will total 32,686,667 euros, slightly less than the amount invested in 2012, which totalled 33,026,660 euros.
