Minister keen to develop Adventure Tourism in Croatia

Croatia's Minister of Tourism Veljko Ostojic abseiled down a 40 meter high rock cliff, went on a flying fox, took a quad bike out for a ride, and partook in a game of paintaball yesterday afternoon as he visited potential destinations where adventure tourism can be further developed in Croatia, reported daily newspaper 24sata.
Ostojic was in the Karlovac County where adventure toursim has become increasingly popular over the last few years and Croatia's Tourism Minister says that the Ministry and the Croatian National Tourist Board are keen to help develop such areas.
"We discussed other forms of incentives and promotion of tourism in this area. The Ministry of Tourism and the Croatian National Tourist Board will give impetus especially in defining and identifying tourism development areas, and then in identifying priorities in those areas where and how to develop tourism there," said Ostojic.
