Some 60 per cent of unemployed never worked a day in their profession

On the unemployment registry in Croatia there are more than 130,000 of Croatia's youth, of which 60 per cent have not worked a single day in their profession.
The spread of social dissatisfaction and negative perceptions of opportunities in life, are just some of the consequences that occur when young people find themseleves unemployed for a long period of time.
"We are here because of the future and alot of work awaits us, dont forget that the youth deserve a better present also," said Nikola Butkovic from the Croatian Youth Network.
In the period from 2003 to 2010, the average annual unemployment rate of the population aged from 15-24 years ranged from 15.7 per cent to a 32.6 per cent high in 2010, reports daily newspaper Vecernji list.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
