Close to 20 per cent growth for Croatia Airlines

Croatia's national carrier Croatia Airlines in the first four months of 2012 recorded income from sales of 591.7 million kuna (80 million Euros), which is growth of 19 per cent on the same period last year, or 93.1 million kuna (12.5 million Euros) more, reports Croatian website politika plus.
The company expects growth of 8 per cent this year from sales. Nearly all markets have seen considerable growth, especially France, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Croatia Airlines says that more and more sales now are being done on the internet and telephone. Sales from those two mediums alone experienced 35 per cent growth.
The biggest market to grow however was the Australian market which grew by a massive 187 per cent and CEO of Croatia Airlines Srecko Simunovic says that Australia has now become a very important market.
