Europe's biggest engineering competition to be held in Croatia

More than 200 students from 90 Universities from over 30 countries will descend on the Croatian capital for the final of the biggest student engineering competition - European BEST Engineering Competition. The event, to be held from 1 - 8 August, will collect new ideas and solutions from the most creative young minds in Europe. The European BEST Engineering Competition (EBEC) is a project conducted by the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) and aims to raise the social awareness of all the students in relation to present-day world problems and involve them into resolving them. This international event is a good opportunity for Zagreb to promote itself as a good host, a university city and also as a tourist destination, reports portal dalje.com.
