London Eye to get replica in Zadar

The famous London Eye is to get a replica in Croatia.
The Croatian coastal town of Zadar is set to get the replica ready next year, it has been revealed by British Embassy in Zagreb which is organising the British-Croatian Investment Forum in Zadar on 16 and 17 September.
The initiative to put the replica of the London Eye in Zadar has come from British music producer Nick Colgan who lives in Zadar.
It will take pride of place on Zadar sea front in 2011 and more news on the project is expected during the British Croatian Investment Forum when representatives of at least 20 British companies are expected to attend the event.
"It is expected that British investors will present their projects for ports, marinas, tourism and energetics", British Embassy Trading Department official Natasa Kalauz said.
Ex UB40 producer Colgan also plans to launch Virgin Radio in Zadar as well as a music studio where he intends to attract top world stars to produce their albums.
