Many job applicants know nothing about jobs they are applying for
Croatian Times
Some 91 per cent of Croatian employers have been faced one or more times with job candidates who know nothing about the job or the company at which they are applying, the results of a new poll show.
According to the "MojPosao" (My Job) website, 50 per cent of employers have been faced with candidates who did not understand what they should do in their new positions or applied "just in case" or "to practice for another job interview ".
And 79 per cent of employers claimed they had interviewed candidates who came inappropriately dressed, in sport or provocative clothing.
Spelling and grammar mistakes are the most common ones in curriculum vitae, the survey of 60 employers shows.
