Breast Tailor

croatiantimes.com

Chinese tailor Ran Yusheng, 93, has become an internet hit because he can create a hand made bra that is a perfect fit just by looking at a woman's breasts.

The demand for hand-made bras in China died out as machinery gradually replaced the traditional tailors - and Ran who used to employ 30 tailors eventually closed his business.

At first he was working from home at Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan province, for a few remaining clients - and then he retired.

But a chance meeting with two students after the death of his wife resulted in them persuading him to come out of retirement, and he is now making top quality bras for wealthy Chinese woman who say they are a much better fit than the mass produced modern bras.

He said: "I have made bras for more than 10,000 women in a career going back 80 years - I love the job - it's what keeps me young."
