ETs Drive Out Vampires

croatiantimes.com

Locals in a remote part of Transylvania are being terrorised - by UFOs.

People living around Hoia-Baciu Forest have flooded local police with complaints about unidentified flying objects. The reports include sightings of luminous spheres that hover silently above the ground before zooming off at high speed, as well as other flying geometrical shapes, and there have also seen coloured lights in the sky, and strange humanoid apparitions. Others claim to have seen weird lights that surround certain objects.

Local Trian Ionescu, 57, complained: "No-one seems to be taking us seriously, Transylvania does have a reputation for being a place where people are superstitious and there's all the stuff about vampires and garlic, but in reality people here are more worried about aliens."

One man claimed to have been left with mysterious skin burns, others were imprisoned or suddenly discovering themselves surrounded by a weird light.

The complaints have even attracted the attention of government officials and also reached Romanian University professor Adrian Patrut, head of the Romanian Parapsychology Society, who has now done a documentary on the project that has been posted on You Tube.

Local UFO watcher Daniel Roxin who writes a blog on the subject said: "Forget vampires, Transylvania has more in common with the Bermuda Triangle."

He also worked on the documentary that included the work of two other locals UFOI watchers - Patrut and Cristian Muresan - who are both well known in Romania for their presentation of the show "Science and Knowledge" on TVR Cluj.

Hoia-Baciu forest was first connected to UFO sightings in August 1968 when a military technician called Emil Barnea was in the forest with his girlfriend and two family friends to spend a weekend out of the city.

The four spotted a low flying UFO and Barnea managed to take several photos, described at the time as "the clearest images of a UFO photographed in Romania and undoubtedly, some of the best images of a UFO ever photographed in the world."
