Dead Weight

German TV station RTL has said it plans to press ahead with showing a
weight-loss show even though one of the candidates was killed after filming
finished in a car accident.
Helga Anninger weighed in at 20 stone that had dropped to 16 stone by the
time "The Big Weight-Loss" series had finished.
She died aged 56 in a car accident before she could enjoy her new lighter
figure, and RTL said they had decided to go ahead with screening the show
every Sunday until it finished.
An RTL spokesman said the dead woman’s family supported its decision to
run video clips of her.
Daughter Jessica, 26, said: "I am very sad she is gone, but I will enjoy
watching the show. It is a very nice memorial to my mother."
