Government turns to facebook for corruption solutions

The Croatian government, not for the first time, has turned to social network site facebook to get feedback and ideas from citizens on issues affecting Croatia. This time it is on the issue of corruption.

The Ministry of Justice has posted a 19 question survey on the government's facebook site, asking citizens to give their perceptions and experiences on corruption so it can tackle the issue, writes daily newspaper 24sata.

"Solving the issue of corruption is critical for the development of a healthy society and a successful state, do you agree?, To be effective we need to hear about your experiences," said the introduction to the survey.

The survey did not go done well with everyone. "How can we fight against corruption, if the government is corrupt???", asked one citizen in the comments.
